The Spanish Football Federation has confirmed that Julen Lopetegui has extended his contract with the national team.
In 2016, Lopetegui turned down the opportunity to manage Wolverhampton Wanderers in order to lead Spain, and the 51-year-old has remained unbeaten in 18 matches in all competitions.
That has resulted in the former Under-21s coach being handed a new two-year deal, taking his stay until the conclusion of Euro 2020.
Spain are currently preparing to compete at the World Cup, where they have been drawn to play Portugal, Iran and Morocco during the group stages.
Ahead of the trip to Russia, Spain will play friendlies against Switzerland and Tunisia.
