Emmanuel Adebayor praises "unbelievable" Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood

Emmanuel Adebayor hails "unbelievable" Tim Sherwood after he revived the striker's Tottenham Hotspur career.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has admitted that he has been "impressed" by head coach Tim Sherwood since he took on the role at White Hart Lane.

The 29-year-old forward's position within the first team has been revived after Sherwood replaced Andre Villas-Boas in December.

"I know Tim quite well, so for me, to be honest with you, I was impressed because I know the manager, the person, the personality," Sky Sports News quotes Adebayor as saying.

"I know what he can bring into the club and we all see what he has brought into the club. For me, he is an unbelievable man, a nice guy with a huge character. He has been there for me since day one."

The forward has scored six goals in all competitions since returning to first-team action.
