Parker was forced to miss the final month of the domestic season with the injury but managed to be an ever-present in England's Euro 2012 team.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder now faces a race against time to be fit for Spurs' opening league match against Newcastle United.
Parker could also be ruled out of England's friendly against Italy in Geneva on August 15.
