Earlier today it had been reported that the match at White Hart Lane was due to go ahead, despite the overnight wintry conditions.

However, snow has continued to fall in North London throughout the day, which has thrown the encounter into doubt.

"There will be a pitch inspection by the referee at 2.50pm. We will have a further update for you as soon as possible after that time," read a message on Tottenham's official Twitter page.

Should the pitch pass an inspection from referee Chris Foy, the game will get underway at 4pm.
