Mauricio Pochettino happy with Tottenham Hotspur attack

Mauricio Pochettino insists that he is not concerned by a lack of attacking options in his Tottenham Hotspur squad.

Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that he has no concern about Tottenham Hotspur's ability to score goals this season.

Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor are both expected to be sold before the end of the transfer window, and last season's top goalscorer Harry Kane was the only striker in the squad for Saturday's 1-0 loss to Manchester United.

Spurs are closing in on the signing of Lyon's Clinton N'Jie and have been linked with West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino, but Pochettino is certain that the likes of Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli can provide enough support to Kane.

"Sometimes you have five strikers, like Liverpool last season, and they were sixth," the Spurs boss told reporters. "Harry Kane scored 31 goals, Adebayor two. Soldado five. You never know in football.

"We have different players that can play like a striker and we have different offensive players that can play in different options. But I think we don't need too much players to bring in."

Spurs return to action against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
