Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro claims that he is three months away from full fitness following a serious knee injury.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has revealed that he is three months away from full fitness following a serious knee injury.

The 24-year-old Brazilian was ruled out for the rest of the season when he suffered a cruciate ligament problem against Queens Park Rangers in January.

"I've got three months to go," Sandro is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I've started to run, I'm developing.

"Sometimes I try too much and the knee swells up. I have to listen to the doctor. I have to give the injury enough time, but I dream that I am playing."

Sandro is undergoing his rehabilitation with former club Internacional in Brazil.
