Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has reportedly been seen at Aston Villa's training ground amid speculation that he could join the Midlands club.
The 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs this summer after struggling for first-team action at White Hart Lane.
Villa assistant coach Ray Wilkins recently claimed that there was a chance Adebayor could arrive at Villa Park this summer.
The Togo international's transfer to the Villans has now moved a step closer following his visit to the club's training facility, according to Sky Sports News.
Adebayor previously played under Villa boss Tim Sherwood at Spurs and was the top scorer for the club when Sherwood was in charge during the 2013-14 campaign.
