Barcelona are reportedly keeping a close eye on Sampdoria attacker Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Danish youngster instantly became a regular for the Serie A side following his 2020 move from Nordsjaelland, and he ended the 2020-21 season with two goals and four assists from 35 league outings.
Damsgaard earned himself a place in Denmark's Euro 2020 squad following his impressive season at Sampdoria, and he scored a sublime opener to put his nation ahead in their 4-1 triumph over Russia - a result which sealed a place in the last-16 for the Scandinavian side.
The winger has previously been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but according to Sport, Barcelona are showing a genuine interest in his services.
Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has affirmed that another goal for Damsgaard at Euro 2020 would see his value rise to €40m (£34.3m), and Barca may have to battle Juventus for the starlet's signature.
Damsgaard's existing deal at Sampdoria is not due to expire until the end of the 2023-24 season.
