Bayern Munich are reportedly planning a £30m swoop this summer for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale under new boss Pep Guardiola.

Bayern Munich and new boss Pep Guardiola are eyeing a £30m summer swoop for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale, according to a report.

Guardiola has targeted the Wales international as his number one target when he takes over the German side and is expected to battle Real Madrid for his signature.

The Sun reports that the former Barcelona boss has been a long-time admirer of the 23-year-old and has had previously had him scouted.

Tottenham have insisted that Bale is not for sale this summer, but if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, the Welshman may look to leave the club.
