Manchester City attacker Bernardo Silva rejects the chance to move to Tottenham Hotspur as part of a deal for Harry Kane, according to a report.

Manchester City attacker Bernardo Silva has reportedly rejected a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 27-year-old is keen to leave the Citizens before the end of the summer transfer window, and Pep Guardiola's side were thought to be exploring the idea of using the Portugal international as a makeweight in a big-money move for Harry Kane.

However, according to The Athletic, Silva has made it clear to the Premier League champions that he has no intention of moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The report claims that the Portuguese is determined to secure an exit from the Etihad Stadium but wants to move to Spain amid interest from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Silva is said to be ready to turn his back on the Premier League, although Barcelona will be unable to sign him during this summer's transfer window due to their financial problems.

The versatile attacker still has four years left to run on his contract with Man City, who are back in Premier League action at home to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
