Tottenham Hotspur assistant manager Kevin Bond has backtracked on yesterday's comments that Luka Modric could leave Spurs.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to Chelsea, who are said to be lining up a £30m bid for the Croatian.
Bond had said that "everybody has a price", but now insists that the 25-year-old won’t be leaving White Hart Lane.
"For the purpose of clarification and in case my comments this morning inadvertently misled anyone, the club's position on Luka Modric is quite clear - we have no intention of selling him," Bond said.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has consistently said that the player is not available "at any price".
