Juventus want Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to succeed Massimiliano Allegri as their next head coach, according to a report.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly Juventus's undisputed top choice to replace outgoing head coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Juve confirmed on Friday that Allegri, who has won a clean sweep of Serie A titles and four Coppas Italia during his five seasons at the Allianz Stadium, is to step aside in the summer.

The Italian champions have already started their search for Allegri's successor and, according to Tuttosport, there is one man they 'dream' of taking over from next season.

Guardiola is seen as the coach who can maintain Juve's domestic dominance and take them all the way in the Champions League, having regularly fallen short in UEFA's elite club competition in recent years.

Speaking at his press conference on the eve of City's FA Cup final clash with Watford, however, Guardiola reiterated that he has no reason to leave Man City.

Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi, France manager Didier Deschamps, Mauricio Pochettino of Tottenham Hotspur and out-of-work Antonio Conte are considered to be on Juve's list of back-up options.
