Manchester City are reportedly prepared to bide their time as they contemplate whether to make another official bid for Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.

Manchester City reportedly have no immediate plans to make a fresh approach for Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is insistent that he will not allow the club legend to depart North London for anything less than £150m.

After failing with a £100m offer earlier in the summer, City succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Spurs in Sunday's Premier League opener.

While Kane remained absent from that contest, the Daily Mail suggests that City will consider walking away from any deal over the coming days and weeks.

Despite being reluctant to meet Spurs' valuation before the end of the summer transfer window, City are contemplating whether to make an improved bid or turn their attention to other targets.

Kane has been selected among Spurs' travelling party for Thursday's Europa Conference League tie against Portuguese outfit Pacos de Ferreira.
