Swansea City manager Garry Monk has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Naughton is one of a number of players that are under consideration as he attempts to strengthen his first-team squad.
The Welsh club recently allowed left-back Ben Davies to move to Spurs, and with Swansea actively looking for a replacement, Monk has admitted that Naughton is a player that he could target before the end of the transfer window.
The 35-year-old told the South Wales Evening Post: "We're looking at a number of players. We're going to get linked with players left, right and centre and I think that we've been linked with just about everyone this summer.
"We are looking at Naughton, but we're looking at a number of players. We're talking about a player who's with another club, so I don't want to disrespect anyone.
"That's just me looking. We've made no offer for any other player. We have to find the right target and do the right deal to bring them into the club."
Naughton made 34 appearances for Spurs in all competitions last season.
