Tottenham Hotspur have announced that they have struck a deal with Sporting Lisbon to sign centre-back Eric Dier this summer.
The North London club have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £4m and will sign the 20-year-old on a five-year deal, subject to a medical.

The move will mark Mauricio Pochettino's third signing of the summer if it materialises, with Swansea City pair Michel Vorm and Ben Davies arriving at White Hart Lane already.
Cheltenham-born Dier, who has five caps for England Under-21s, broke into Sporting's first team last season after climbing through the ranks at the Portuguese outfit.
