Real Madrid are reported to be confident of securing the services of Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale.
The London club have "agreed in principle" to allow the player to leave for a world record fee of £87m, according to the Daily Mail.
Bale is believed to have told Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas that he would like to hold talks with the Spanish giants.
Real boss Carlo Ancelotti said in a recent press conference that he is yet to speak to Bale directly, but confirmed that negotiations between the two clubs have taken place.
Spurs will allegedly allow Bale to leave once they have completed the signing of striker Roberto Soldado and Spanish youngster Alvaro Morata.
