Stoke City have placed final bids for Tottenham Hotspur pair Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios.
Stoke chairman Peter Coates revealed that talks between the clubs had been ongoing for some time and they will not budge from their latest offer.
"We've made our last bid. The ball is in their court. We shall not be negotiating from where we are," he told BBC Radio Stoke.
"The last conversation I had with Spurs, we had not agreed anything. We'll see what happens, but we haven't got any further."
The Potters yesterday completed the signing of Matthew Upson on a free transfer in addition to signing Jonathan Woodgate earlier this summer.
