Tottenham Hotspur line up opening bid for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg?

Southampton are looking to cash in on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly readying an initial offer for the Danish midfielder.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to make an opening offer to Southampton for midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

The Saints are looking to cash in on skipper Hojbjerg this summer after failing to agree terms on a new contract, which is due to expire next year.

Spurs and Everton are rumoured to be keen on striking a deal with Southampton, but the South Coast club are supposedly holding out for around £35m.

According to the Daily Star, Tottenham are now about to step forward with a first bid for Hojbjerg, who has spent four years with Southampton since joining from Bayern Munich.

Speaking last month, the Denmark international offered a clear hint that he is looking to move away from St Mary's Stadium at the end of the campaign.
