Tottenham Hotspur reportedly still hold an interest in Sampdoria forward Mikkel Damsgaard.
The North London outfit were linked with a move for the Danish starlet in the January transfer window, but a move never materialised and speculation over his future has cooled recently.
However, with the 20-year-old playing a starring role for Claudio Ranieri's men in his first season in Serie A, Tottenham will supposedly try again for the Sampdoria man in the summer.
According to Tuttosport, Tottenham are now in pole position for the winger's signature, but they will have to fend off serious interest from Juventus first.
Furthermore, it remains to be seen whether Damsgaard will elect to stay in Italy to continue his development, where he boasts two goals and four assists from 20 top-flight games this season.
The Denmark international is contracted to Sampdoria until 2024, and Inter Milan are also said to be monitoring the situation.
