Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to consider offers for right-back Emerson Royal this summer.
The ex-Barcelona man immediately established himself as a regular fixture in the Spurs XI following his arrival in 2021 but has struggled to make a consistent impact in Antonio Conte's side.
Furthermore, with Matt Doherty now reigniting his Tottenham career in the right-wing back role, questions are being raised about Emerson's long-term future at the club.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are ready to entertain bids for the 23-year-old after his shaky displays this term and have already identified a potential replacement.
The report adds that Spurs will move for Middlesbrough's Djed Spence if Emerson is sold, but they are said to be one of seven Premier League clubs hoping to sign the Nottingham Forest loanee.
Emerson has registered one assist in 30 games for Tottenham in all competitions this term and is under contract in North London until 2026.
