Rafael van der Vaart hints that he could leave Tottenham Hotspur by refusing to be drawn on speculation linking him with a move to Schalke 04.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Rafael van der Vaart has refused to rule out a transfer to Schalke 04 following recent speculation.

Reports have claimed that the Dutchman is on the Bundesliga club's summer wishlist, with the German outfit preparing to offer Spurs £12m for the 29-year-old.

"I won't say anything about it," Van der Vaart told De Telegraaf. "At the moment I am fully focused on Euro 2012."

There are fears that the North London outfit could lose a number of senior players this summer due to the club's removal from next season's Champions League campaign following Chelsea's victory in the final.
