Kieran Sadlier makes St Mirren switch

St Mirren sign former West Ham midfielder Kieran Sadlier until the end of the season.

St Mirren have confirmed the signing of midfielder Kieran Sadlier on a deal until the end of the season.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international had been without a club following his release by West Ham United.

"I am delighted to have strengthened the squad by signing Kieran, who will add competition to our squad," St Mirren boss Gary Teale told the Scottish Premiership club's official website.

"Kieran has had a good development at West Ham and also being involved with the Irish Under-21 team. He was very keen to come up to Scotland when I spoke to him before the transfer window closed and negotiated his release from West Ham to come up to St Mirren."

Sadlier could make his St Mirren debut on Saturday when they host Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the league.
