Team News: St Mirren call on Gregg Wylde, Isaac Osbourne for Aberdeen meeting

St Mirren pack their midfield while Aberdeen name an unchanged side for the Scottish Premiership clash.

St Mirren have recalled midfield duo Gregg Wylde and Isaac Osbourne for their Scottish Premiership meeting with in-form Aberdeen.

Coach Gary Teale has opted to pack the midfield in the absence of striker Steven Thompson, who could miss up to four weeks following a hernia operation.

Table-topping Aberdeen have kept the faith in the side that won 2-0 at Motherwell in their last outing, with absentees Clark Robertson and Craig Storie failing to return to fitness in time.

Willo Flood was pressing for a start following his appearance as a substitute last weekend, but has been left out entirely.

St Mirren: Ridgers, Naismith, Kelly, Tesselaar, Goodwin, Osbourne, McLear, Mallan, McGinn, Wylde, McLean

Aberdeen: Brown, Logan, Considine, Taylor, Reynolds, Rooney, McGinn, Hayes, Pawlett, Goodwillie, Jack
