Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has revealed that he hopes to get into the England squad for Euro 2012.
Despite scoring 22 goals in 42 appearances for his country, the 30-year-old hasn't been selected by manager Fabio Capello in over a year.
"I certainly wouldn't write it off. If I am playing well for Stoke, then I have to be in the manager's thoughts," he said.
"Whenever I have played for England, I think I've done well. I would love to go to the Euros. But if not, then the manager seems to be thinking about leaving, so who knows what will happen after that?"
Crouch comes up against his former club Tottenham Hotspur at the Britannia Stadium later today (Sunday).
