Mark Hughes has insisted that Stoke City must learn from their mistakes after sharing a draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last season.
The Potters came from two goals down inside the final 15 minutes at White Hart Lane to secure their first point of the season.
Ahead of tomorrow's trip to Norwich City, the manager told the club's website: "I think we will learn from the first half of last weekend's game and rectify what we weren't able to do during those 45 minutes this time round.
"There were one of two key things that we weren't able to do to the best of our ability and that cost us a couple of goals, which probably could have been avoided.
"We have looked at that though and hopefully we can start a lot brighter this weekend and start the game on the front foot. We have to nullify the threats they have and then show good quality moving forward, which I feel we are able to do now, especially given the amount of quality players we have inside the building."
Stoke will have new signing Xherdan Shaqiri available for the trip to Carrow Road after he missed out last week while serving a suspension.
