Stoke City boss Tony Pulis avoids a driving ban despite being caught doing 92 miles per hour in a 60 zone.

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has swerved a driving ban despite being caught travelling at 92 miles per hour in a 60 zone on November 6 of last year.

According to reports, Pulis previously held 12 points on his licence and any ban would have seen his licence revoked immediately.

Pulis's solicitor is understood to have argued that the removal of his client's licence would threaten Stoke's ability to remain in the Premier League.

The Welshman has been fined £2,500.
