Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has reportedly attracted interest from Sunderland ahead of the January transfer window.
Crouch has been with the Potters since 2011 but he has been largely restricted to substitute appearances during the last 18 months.
The 35-year-old has just six months remaining on his existing deal and according to The Sun, that has alerted Sunderland boss David Moyes, who is said to be keen on pairing Crouch with Jermain Defoe.
Sunderland have won four of their last seven matches in the Premier League but goals remain a problem for the Black Cats, with only Defoe, Victor Anichebe and Patrick van Aanholt finding the back of the net in the league this season.
Crouch has not scored in the top flight since the final day of the 2014-2015 campaign.
