Lee Cattermole says that Sunderland's run under manager Martin O'Neill has been "unbelievable".

Sunderland captain Lee Cattermole has said that his team's run under manager Martin O'Neill has been "unbelievable".

The Black Cats have won nine out of 15 since O'Neill took over from Steve Bruce in December.

"We have a lot of momentum and I do not think there has really been a dip in any of the games under the new manager," Cattermole said.

"We have had a lot of matches and some difficult questions have been asked of us but if you look at the effort the lads are putting in, it is unbelievable.

"Stephane Sessegnon and James McClean have been great for us. They have that pace and they can both beat a man so they are great at taking the pressure off the rest of the team."

Sunderland continued thier FA Cup run on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Arsenal.
