Martin O'Neill describes Sunderland's win over league leaders Manchester City earlier today as "incredible".

Martin O'Neill was full of praise for his Sunderland players following today's 1-0 win over league leaders Manchester City.

The Black Cats managed to claim all three points at the Stadium of Light despite being without a number of squad members due to injury.

"We knew we were going to have withstand ferocious pressure from Manchester City," he told BBC Radio Five Live. "We did it and we did it remarkably well.

"To win this game considering the situation we found ourselves in this morning is incredible."

The three points has moved Sunderland up to 13th in the Premier League table.
