Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill was keen to praise striker Fraizer Campbell after their 3-0 win over Norwich City at the Stadium of Light.
The 24-year-old scored his second goal in as many games after being sidelined with a knee ligament injury since August 2010.
"I'm obviously particularly pleased for him," O'Neill told Sky Sports News. "He's had a really tough time with serious injury and he's come back and he's done magnificently, really brilliantly.
"I'm just delighted for him, I think everyone round here is, and if he hogs the headlines tomorrow - well done to him."
Wednesday's win against Norwich has lifted the Black Cats up to eighth in the Premier League table.
