Bordeaux have revealed that they have agreed a fee with Premier League strugglers Sunderland for the transfer of Wahbi Khazri.
Khazri is now discussing personal terms with Sunderland in the hope of sealing an £8.5m move before Monday's transfer deadline.
The 24-year-old, who is a Tunisian international, has scored 14 Ligue 1 goals from midfield the last season and a half since joining Bordeaux from Bastia in summer 2014.
Sunderland, who sit 19th in the Premier League after 23 matches, have already made four signings - Jan Kirchhoff, Dame N'Doye, Steve Harper and Lamine Kone - in this month's transfer window.
