Sunderland have reportedly joined the race to sign Celtic hitman Georgios Samaras.
The Greek international is out of contract at Celtic Park this summer and could be available for as little as £2m, according to SportsDirect News.
Hull City were previously linked with the forward, but are thought to be out of the running after securing the services of attacking duo Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long.
Previous reports suggest that Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid and Turkish side Trabzonspor are also hoping to secure the services of Samaras.
