Steve Bruce has said that he would consider adding to Hull City's squad if the right players became available.
With the January transfer window now open, the Tigers have already been linked with West Bromwich Albion forward Shane Long, Celtic striker Georgios Samaras and Manchester United's Nick Powell.
The manager told Sky Sports News: "We are in a fantastic position in the league thanks to the efforts of the current squad.
"There has been a real hunger about the boys here and they are fighting so hard for each other, but if there is anybody out there who I think can substantially improve us, then I will ask the question."
Hull travel to Anfield to face Liverpool this afternoon.
