Leon Britton praises Michael Laudrup for giving Swansea City the chance to be more expressive in attack this season.

Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton has revealed that the team have been given "more freedom" to attack by Michael Laudrup than they were given by Brendan Rodgers last season.

Former Denmark international Laudrup took charge of the Swans in the summer after Rodgers opted to become the new manager of fellow Premier League side Liverpool.

Discussing the difference between the two managers, Britton admitted that the Welsh club have a greater attacking impetus under Laudrup's guidance.

"We've been a bit more attacking this year. [Laudrup] has given us a bit more freedom at the top end of the pitch to get forward and try and score more goals," he told Sky Sports News.

"It's helping us not just at home, but I think we've picked up some great results on the road and that has been the difference for us this year."

Laudrup's side are currently seventh in the Premier League table.
