Swansea City are reportedly prepared to give head coach Paul Clement an opportunity to turn around the club's poor run of form in the Premier League.

Swansea City have reportedly decided to to remain with Paul Clement as head coach until at least the start of 2018.

Saturday's 2-1 defeat away at Stoke City was Swansea's sixth in seven top-flight fixtures, and the Welsh outfit now sit at the bottom of the standings.

Clement has acknowledged that the club's form has not been good enough, and the former Chelsea coach has openly admitted that his job was under threat.

However, according to Wales Online, Swansea are prepared to give Clement another transfer window before contemplating a change in the dugout.

That could potentially change should Swansea continue to struggle in their remaining half-a-dozen fixtures during December but as it stands, the top tier of the club's hierarchy intend to give Clement funds to spend in January.

Clement has won 13 of his 38 matches in charge of Swansea, with his efforts in his first five months in South Wales leading to the Swans retaining their top-flight status.
