Swansea City are on the verge of signing goalkeeper Mark Birighitti on a free transfer, according to reports.
The 25-year-old is expected to put pen to paper on a two-year deal at the Liberty Stadium with the option of a further year.
Birighitti is currently a free agent having seen out his contract at Australian A-League side Newcastle Jets, and was thought to be wanted by a number of clubs.
Newcastle United and Bournemouth are among those understood to be interested in the Australia international, but the South Wales Evening Post reports that Swansea will wrap up the deal in the coming days.
Birighitti, who will provide competition for current number one Lukasz Fabianski, is set to become the club's third signing of the summer after Leroy Fer and Mike van der Hoorn.
