Swansea confirm Andre Ayew loan exit
Swansea City confirm an agreement for Andre Ayew to leave the club on loan to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Swansea City have confirmed that they have reached agreement in principle for Andre Ayew to depart the club on loan to Fenerbahce.

The 28-year-old rejoined the Welsh side from West Ham United in January but failed to find the net as the Swans ended the campaign with relegation to the Championship.

The side have reportedly been keen to move the winger on this summer to help cut down their wage bill and have now agreed a deal with Turkish giants Fenerbahce that will see him leave on loan for the upcoming season subject to completion of a medical. The deal also includes an option to purchase at the end of the season.

"I understand the circumstances of the move – it's part of the restructure of us going forward," Swans boss Graham Potter told the club's website.

"From my perspective he has been brilliant. He has applied himself in training, supported what we are trying to do and been very professional. He has been a joy to work with and we wish him the best."

Ayew became the club's record signing when he rejoined for a fee of £18m less than seven months ago.
