Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen insists that Team GB will be ready to face Senegal on Thursday.

Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen has insisted that Team GB will have 'peaked' when they face Senegal on Thursday.

Goals from Sandro and Neymar gave Brazil a 2-0 win over Team GB in their friendly encounter on Friday, but the 22-year-old believes that the match aided their fitness.

"We feel when we go into the first game that's when we'll really start peaking in terms of fitness and in terms of preparation," he told BBC Sports.

Allen is expected to start in central midfield alongside Aaron Ramsey.
