Napoli overcome Torino 5-3 at Turin's Stadio Olimpico in Serie A this evening.

Napoli have edged Torino 5-3 in a Serie A thriller at Stadio Olimpico in Turin this evening.

Blerim Dzemaili grabbed a hat-trick for the visitors and Edinson Cavani helped himself to a brace, with goals for Torino coming from Paulo Baretto, Jonathas and Ricardo Meggiorini.

Dzemaili got Napoli off to a good start when he scored his first of the evening after 10 minutes, before Baretto hit back for the home side on the half-hour mark.

Dzemaili added his second just two minutes after the restart, before Walter Mazzari's side were pegged back again with Jonathas's 75th-minute penalty, which sent the game into a frantic final 15 minutes.

Giampiero Ventura's side then took the lead for the first time in the match on 78 minutes when Meggiorini converted, but their advantage lasted just two minutes as Dzemaili claimed this third to level the scores.

With six minutes remaining Cavani grabbed his side a priceless fourth and then added the fifth in injury time to keep up their challenge on Serie A leaders Juventus.
