Fulham have allowed Derek Boateng to hold transfer talks with Championship side Watford.
The Ghanaian international has featured just once since Rene Meulensteen took charge of the club early last month.
As a result, he has been granted permission to move to Vicarage Road in a bid to boost his chances of participating at the World Cup in Brazil.
"Derek has a chance to go to the World Cup, so we've allowed him to speak to Watford," Meulensteen told reporters.
Boateng joined Fulham during the summer on a free transfer following a stint with Ukrainian outfit Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
