Valencia through to last 16

Valencia draw 0-0 with Dynamo Kiev but qualify for the last 16 with a 2-0 aggregate scoreline in the Europa League.

Valencia are through to the last-16 of the Europa League after they drew 0-0 with Dynamo Kiev at the Mestalla to qualify 2-0 on aggregate.

In a fairly dour game, Dani Parejo went close for the home side when he curled an effort just wide after 22 minutes before Francisco Alcacer had a goal ruled out for offside just after the half-hour mark.

Fede had a big chance to give Valencia the lead towards the end of the first half but his effort was too close to Kiev goalkeeper Oleksandr Rybka

Alacer and Fede both had chances after the restart, but in truth their qualification was already secured in the first leg, and they were content to see out the game in the second half.
