Alvaro Negredo to make Valencia debut this weekend?

A report claims that Alvaro Negredo could make his long-awaited Valencia debut this weekend.

Alvaro Negredo has reportedly been cleared to make his long-awaited Valencia debut this weekend.

The Spanish international joined Los Che on loan from Manchester City this summer, but has not yet made his debut for the La Liga side due to a foot injury.

It was reported last month that the 29-year-old had suffered a setback in training, but according to Inside Spanish Football, the striker has now been passed fit to represent his new club.

Valencia face Deportivo La Coruna in the league this weekend, but head coach Nuno is said to be considering giving the experienced frontman another week of interrupted training before throwing him into the first team.
