Real Sociedad striker Imanol Agirretxe has admitted that Monday's 5-1 defeat to Villarreal was their "worst game of the season".
Sociedad will have the chance to avenge that loss, however, when they travel to El Madrigal on Thursday for the second leg of their last-16 clash in the Copa del Rey.
"We're angry about this game. Nothing went our way, right from the start and we've had a really bad game. We need to change that before the next game on Thursday," he told reporters at a press conference.
"This was our worst game of the season, but it's not normal for us. Today has been a bit of an accident and now it's time for us to reflect on that. It was a really bad game, but this won't tarnish what has been a very good first half of the season."
Villarreal's win moved them above Sociedad and into fifth spot in La Liga.
