Preview: Watford vs. Millwall

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Boxing Day clash as Watford host Millwall in the Championship.

Giuseppe Sannino will take charge of his first home match for Watford on Boxing Day when they welcome Millwall to Vicarage Road in the Championship.

The Italian sat in the dugout for the first time on the weekend as the Hornets drew 1-1 with Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

A win for Watford could see the team move into the top half of the table ahead of a busy festive period.

Meanwhile, Millwall will be keen to pick up a positive result as they sit just four points above the relegation zone following two straight defeats.

Daniel Pudil is likely to shake off a hamstring strain for the hosts, while Hector Bellerin, Marco Faraoni, Almen Abdi, Essaid Belkalem and Tommie Hoban all remain sidelined.

Millwall captain Paul Robinson faces a late fitness test, but Justin Hoyte, Richard Chaplow, Nicky Bailey are all expected to be available.
