A late goal from Martin Taylor helped Watford to a point after their 2-2 draw against Birmingham City at Vicarage Road.
Adam Rooney put the visitors ahead in the 39th minute when he bundled in from a corner.
The Hornets levelled the match with ten minutes to go after Marvin Sordell hit home from the edge of the area.
Chrish Hughton's side thought they had snatched all three points when Chris Wood struck from 18-yards with two minutes left, but the home side salvaged a point in injury-time when former Blue Martin Taylor was on hand to hit home.
Watford next face a trip to Reading on Saturday, September 10, while Birmingham host Millwall the following day.
