Keith Fahey scores the only goal of the game as Birmingham City defeat Coventry City 1-0.

A goal from midfielder Keith Fahey 15 minutes from time was enough to hand Birmingham City all three points against Coventry City.

Substitute Adam Rooney was in the thick of the action, seeing his 71st minute header strike the post before crossing for Fahey to head home just a minute later at St Andrews.

The Sky Blues' loss sees them slip into the relegation zone.

On Thursday, August 18 Chris Hughton's Birmingham travel to Portuguese club Nacional for a Europa League tie while Coventry go in search of their first league win of the season away at Crystal Palace on Tuesday, August 16.
