West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has claimed that manager Tony Pulis keeps him on the "straight and narrow" following numerous controversies.
The 21-year-old was dropped to the bench back in February for giving a televised interview admitting that he wants to leave the Baggies for a bigger club in the future.
Despite expressing a desire to move elsewhere, Berahino insists that Pulis speaks to him regularly in order to keep him focused.
"He has always kept me on the straight and narrow to make me focus on my football and keep playing and enjoying it," the striker told Sky Sports News. "Everyone knows how Tony Pulis is as a person. He's a bit old school but it's old school that works."
West Brom occupy 13th place in the Premier League table with three games left to play.
