West Bromwich Albion midfielder Zoltan Gera has revealed that he is confident his injury problems from last season are behind him.
Gera played just three games for the club last term due to suffering a serious knee injury, but is looking forward to the new season after figuring in the Baggies' pre-season plans.
The Hungarian international said: "I am looking ahead, the knee is 100%. I've had a good recovery from my injury and it was a great feeling to start playing again.
"Now I just need to get match sharpness. I'm getting stronger and fitter with each appearance and then it will be up to the coach to decide whether I am ready for the first game."
West Brom begin the season with a match against Liverpool.
