West Bromwich Albion winger James Morrison has urged Baggies boss Roy Hodgson to commit his future to the club.
Hodgson's current deal expires at the end of the season and he has been linked with the England managerial position, something which the 25-year-old is seemingly aware of.
"It is very important to look at what he has done for the club. He has got mid-table finishes whereas previous years we have been going down. Everyone looks at this club as a solid Premier League team so it is important they tie him down," Morrison told the Daily Mail.
"Roy is on the pitch every day, coaching, telling you where to be on the pitch. It has given everyone that self-confidence and I can see why England may want him."
West Brom face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday.
