Team News: West Bromwich Albion make two changes against Newcastle United

West Brom bring in Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon to face an unchanged Newcastle side.

West Bromwich Albion have brought in Victor Anichebe and Stephane Sessegnon to face an unchanged Newcastle side at The Hawthorns this afternoon.

Anichebe makes his first start of the season, coming in for Rickie Lambert ahead of Saido Berahino, who is forced to watch from the bench once again.

Speaking to Sky Sports News ahead of the game, Baggies manager Tony Pulis remarked that Berahino had been "lucky to make the bench", suggesting that there have been fresh tensions between the wantaway striker and his club.

For the visiting Magpies, Steve McClaren decides to stick with the bones of the side that lost to Everton courtesy of a stoppage-time winner on Boxing Day.

After complaining of feeling unwell during the warm-up, keeper Rob Elliot moves to the bench, handing Karl Darlow his first Premier League start.

West Bromwich Albion: Myhill; Olsson, Yacob, Evans, Morrison, Anichebe, Brunt, McAuley, Fletcher, Dawson, Sessegnon
Subs: Lindegaard; Chester, Gardner, Gamboa, Lambert, Berahino, McManaman

Newcastle United: Darlow, Janmaat, Mbemba, Coloccini, Dummett, Sissoko, Anita, Colback, Wijnaldum, Perez, Mitrovic
Subs: Elliot, Mbabu, Lascelles, Tiote, Gouffran, Thauvin, De Jon
